Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation test suites for backend systems, APIs, and databases.
  • Develop reusable automation frameworks using Python (PyTest, Requests) and C++ (gTest, Boost.Test).
  • Collaborate with development, product to define test requirements and acceptance criteria..
  • Perform database validations (SQL queries, consistency checks, trade/order data validation).
  • Participate in client discussions, providing clear test strategies, reporting defects, and aligning on quality expectations.   
  • Drive cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth integration testing between trading engines, risk systems, and data pipelines.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated regression and smoke tests.
  • Support performance and load testing under real-world scenarios.


Required Skillset 

  • Understanding of multi-threaded programming
  • Network and socket programming knowledge
  • Experience with inter process communication 
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as a team player
  • High ownership mentality -proactively resolves team-impacting bugs regardless of code ownership
  • Self-driven problem solver who takes accountability for outcomes beyond their immediate scope
  • Results-oriented, with a strong focus on the designated KPIs that drives the annual appraisals
