KYC Analyst
The KYC Analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies during client onboarding (COB) and related processes. The role involves meticulous execution of Know Your Client (KYC) procedures to facilitate smooth account opening and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Onboarding & Documentation:

Conduct KYC checks for new clients by reviewing documentation, performing due diligence, and ensuring all information is accurate and complete.

Assist clients with all KYC and account opening requirements, adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation Level Agreements (OLAs).

Ensure timely and accurate account openings to facilitate trading activities.

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:

Stay updated with changes in KYC, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) regulations.

Provide regular updates to senior management on KYC and AML developments, implementing changes with minimal disruption.

Monitor transactions for unusual patterns or anomalies and escalate suspicious activities to senior management or relevant authorities.

Risk Management:

Verify client information to identify potential risks and take necessary steps to mitigate them.

Ensure compliance with AML regulations and company policies by maintaining robust governance and controls.

Record Keeping & Documentation:

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all KYC-related interactions and documentation.

Ensure proper documentation and processes for Domestic Institutions and Foreign Portfolio Investor (FPI) accounts on exchanges.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to KYC policies and procedures.

Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure seamless account setup.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the KYC department of a stockbroker or financial institution.

Strong knowledge of KYC requirements for Domestic Institutions and FPI accounts on exchanges.

Good understanding of AML regulations and associated compliance standards.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in system operations related to KYC processes.
