Role Summary : Head - Broking Operations

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Broking Operations to lead and optimize our trading operations. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead process innovation, automation, and digitalization efforts to drive operational excellence and superior customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Product, and Compliance, to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process Innovation and Automation:

  - Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation across various operational workflows. 

  - Collaborate with the Technology team to implement cutting-edge solutions and  leveraging new technologies.

  - Drive the development and implementation of digital tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiency and customer experiences.

  • Operational Excellence and Scalability:

  - Continuously evaluate and refine operational processes to ensure scalability, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. 

  - Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices across all operational domains.

  - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and measure operational performance, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:

  - Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices across all operational activities.

  - Collaborate with the Compliance team to implement robust controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate operational risks.

  - Manage internal and external audits, and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.    

  • Team Leadership and Development:

  - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  - Provide guidance, training, and career development opportunities to team members.

  - Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the organization.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:

  - Contribute to the development of the overall business strategy and operational plans.

  - Identify and implement operational initiatives aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

  - Continuously monitor and report on operational performance, highlighting areas of concern and proposing solutions.


  • Proven experience of 10+ years in broking or financial services operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, trading operations, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Expertise in process optimization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and change management methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent); advanced degrees are preferred.
